I really should dry our citrus peels as well - I too eat a bucketload of naartjies, minneolas and oranges in winter.

PS: I am practically salivating at the thought of tameletjie now...Marisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12412734634457510531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2652909958001968335.post-35586845789484989522011-07-24T17:08:06.621+02:002011-07-24T17:08:06.621+02:00sorry, I hadn't read the entire post - I see y...sorry, I hadn't read the entire post - I see you did mention the puff pastry!Frances Janischhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03978710537594037265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2652909958001968335.post-3473226197298576272011-07-24T15:10:05.817+02:002011-07-24T15:10:05.817+02:00Do you think I could use a puff pastry base? alot ...Do you think I could use a puff pastry base? alot of the recipes I have found call for puff pastry, even though I remember the short crust version. I love the extra tang of naartjie in my marmalade, it's got a little something extra compared to orange zest.... but yet another thing to add to the preserving list - I still haven't made the candied orange peel that I was going to try this winter. Hope the citrus season will keep going a while longer, despite the crazy warm weather!Kithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11594062064082350697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2652909958001968335.post-77721177877212128692011-07-20T07:29:16.353+02:002011-07-20T07:29:16.353+02:00I wonder why I have never heard of this before?
